Top hat made from clothing labels. In 2011 I was chosen to be the Fashion Artist in Residence for the St. Vincent de Paul in Oakland, CA. I spent three months digging through discarded clothing and created a ten piece collection of upcycled hats. I saved the main labels from all the garments I cut up and used them to make this hat. The only new label on the hat is my own that is on the top of the hat.

One size fits all! I used roughly 1,800 size label
